I absolutely LOVE the flavor of Church's Chicken. However there are two concerns I have. 1.) The outside wood is dry rotting around the drive-thru window. The outside looks rough and does NOT reflect the excellent, well prepared and cooked food. 2.) This restaurant is located in a lower income neighborhood, of which I live. The people of the community like to support local businesses and establish a raptor with the employees. Unfortunately the turn over of employees in this location is consistently quickly changing. It makes me wonder why?
First time eating at church's. I'd argue it's better than KFC in terms of experience. KFC has the potential to be the best, but it's not consistent with the freshness of their chicken. Church's felt like there was better value for my money spent. This specific location's highlights were a sweet staff, a fresh and hot spicy chicken, and a very clean bathroom. Great job keeping the place tidy. The only error was the cashier forgot to give us a fork and napkins which are essential for eating mashed potatoes and fried chicken respectively, but I can't fault her for a simple mistake. Everyone's human, no one is perfect.
Thank-you Church's Chicken near the zoo.
