I have loved this ice cream shop since I was a kid. I tried the Cone Oli for the first time. It tasted amazing but I had no idea how massive it was. It was worth the stomach cramps. Large enough to share with someone else.
Scouting for the Golden Cone App for the Best Ice Cream, this was a solid Ice Cream Parlor. After all, they have been on business for 67 years. I wanted Cannoli Ice Cream, but after 7 other places in one day in Ocean County, I stuck with their Signature Strawberry which was amazing. Comparing to other places, my only suggestion would be on the inside, felt like I was in a Plexi box. For a place with such a Rich History, no pun Intended, it could have been more welcoming. But that is a just a minor suggestion is all. There to eat great Ice cream, and that I did, I will be back.
Went to Rich's Ice Cream II today for the first time and got a great education about their Water Ice. The lady who has been working there for 54 was very pleasant. We got one of their combo cups where they put the flavored water ice in the bottom, soft ice cream in the middle of topped off with more WI and then more ice cream. I got the Creamsicle which was great. My wife got the Strawberry Margarita which she loved. On Tuesdays and Thursdays they have a buy-one-get-one-free. Great deal for the amount you get in the cup. I highly recommend Rich's Ice Cream on Route 37 in Toms River.
