We got the Friday night "All You Can Eat" Fish Dinner. Fish was fried just right, and everything else -- fries, coleslaw, and roll -- were good. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere is family-friendly and laid-back. Overall, the place offers a perfect diner experience. We've also had burgers, chicken strips, and breakfasts there in the past and have never been disappointed!
Food is usually always great. We’ve been coming here as long as I can remember. It’s always been a comfort place to go eat. As of late though it just hasn’t been up to par. We dined in for breakfast and the waitress we had was awful. Never got checked on once! Which means we were left with no coffee for the remainder of our breakfast. Also you obviously have to make sure you order your hashbrowns well done or they’ll serve them raw. In my opinion they focus to much on the other aspects of the restaurant(feed the kids, donations, etc) and are lacking in service to the actual restaurant. Was very dissatisfied with our recent visit.
My family used to be regulars before 2020 but between lockdown and then moving to an inconvenient end of the county, and then that whole economy thing, it's been very difficult getting back regularly and we're the sadder for it. But when we do make it back in and see the changes they've been making over the years we're always delighted that everyone there are the same jovial people we grew to appreciate even before they became Local Famous and took on so much responsibility in improving their community. The sort of responsibility they've taken on will often limit a person's front-facing demeanor but not them - Tiffany in particular is even more gregarious and open-hearted with her customers and staff the more mountains she conquers. We're very proud of and gladdened that these fine people are members of our community - the consistently wonderful food and cozy atmosphere they maintain are just cherries on top.
My only complaint, if it counts as one, is their menu simply has too many options and none of them are mediocre. It takes forever to make up our minds!
