Hubby and I stopped by for the first time this past weekend, wanted to check out the new shops at Monkey Fist. Gotta say, good burgers, BUT very greasy. They were good, but my bottom bun got absolutely soaked within a few moments. My hands were covered in grease as well. No one likes a soggy bun and greasy hands... Fries were great. I took a star off for the soggy bun and the absolute mess the drippings made. It got all over, was hard to enjoy when I was worrying about grease getting over everything.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Midland Burger Co. in downtown TC (inside the State Street Market). The burgers are amazing (the 'Merica is my favorite) and my husband reports that the chicken wings are pretty phenomenal as well. The gentleman commonly behind the counter is very nice and genuinely seems to enjoy his work. As an added bonus, I just discovered the other day that they have online ordering :) Thanks Midland Burger Company - we sure do love your eats!
I loved the burgers here. They were well seasoned and and cooked to perfection. I also really enjoyed the French fries that were served with aioli sauce. Unfortunately they recently shutdown. I'm going to miss the company burger.
