We arrived around 3:30pm on Thanksgiving day for their holiday special. There was a line out the door and thru the casino lobby to their exit. When we finally made it to the hostess we were informed it would be a 2 hour wait. My father-in-law had his heart set on this buffet for it's crab legs or we would have gone to the other casino as their buffet was nearly half the price.
After an hour wait one of our party (of 4 adults & 1 child) decided to ask if there was any way to get in sooner and it turns out there was. You just need to grease the wheels. I've never done this & I have mixed feelings about staff allowing this but I was also grateful to not be waiting outside on one of 2 cement benches any longer. (We had a young child in tow and were not there to gamble)
Once inside the tables were packed close together and while the staff was ok for the most part, the customers were oblivious to those around them. Our server was very attentive and checked on us multiple times. The buffet was tricky to navigate as there was no clear start and stop point. The plates were in the.middle of the inner counter next to the crab legs and such but there were times when there were no plates there. And I did not see another spot for them.
There were smaller plates and bowls near the sushi, soup and desserts tho.
Most of the food was fresh and tasty and the buffet was fairly clean and fresh. They had sushi, seafood, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, ham, and more. The desserts were plentiful but disappointing in the taste department. The best part was the soft serve and that wasn't saying much.
I ordered an iced tea but had to ask to swap it for another drink as it was terrible. It tasted almost like hopps it was weird, perhaps the end of an old batch, I'm not sure how else you mess up iced tea.
I saw some people drinking wine and beer tho we were not given any beverage menu or options so I assume you have to ask for it specifically.
On an average day, not a holiday, for a more reasonable price and a shorter wait this would be a great place to eat. The customers were the worst part, hovering over each other, crowding, cutting in front of people in wheelchairs as they tried to navigate the buffet, shoving people's chairs between tables to get thru rather than asking them to scoot in etc.
My father in law absolutely loved it for the crab legs and that was all he cared about. The kiddo takes after him and had a blast too.
Oh and they have an app to track your wait time, we left well after 6pm and were still only #10 in line (we were 37ish when we started) by the time we headed home. Had we waited we would have been getting in around 7pm. Just something to keep in mind. We did the other casino's buffet last year and weren't expecting the wait so if we do it again we will call ahead to see how long the wait is, I suppose.
We love this place. Great food. Always a large variety of dishes. Something for every taste. And delicious desserts. Special thank you for the Thanksgiving feast! It was crowded. Some people were very rude to the staff but they handled it like pros! If you go on Thanksgiving expect a crowd! You leave a phone # and they text you when your turn comes. Really couldn't be simpler.
The all-you-can-eat snow crab legs and raw oysters were delicious yesterday! They had horseradish, hot sauce, cocktail sauce, and lemon wedges to compliment the raw oysters. Plenty of hot butter for the crab legs. They also had plenty of sushi options too. The kid buffet was $15 per child. They also offer military discount on their buffet prices.
