Okay, I love Jack in the Box. I frequent every single one I pass by. This Jack in the box had HOT and crispy fries. It was amazing. The #7 looked like an advertisement and it tasted great. For as far as Jack in the Box goes, this one gets 5 stars. There was nothing they could've done to make that meal better. It was perfect.
First time at this location. I went through the drive-thru, so I can't comment on anything else, but the food was good (and nice and warm), and the drive-thru folks were very pleasant. I got my food pretty quickly. My only "negative", and its a minor one that didn't affect my rating, was that the exterior of the building really needs some repairs from what appears to be water/storm damage from our summer monsoons. Not a big deal, but first impressions are important for businesses in my opinion.
Look, this is a the Jacks in the Box. If you don't know what the food is like going into this situation, that's on you. The tacos will most certainly disappoint you if you're expecting anything else called a taco outside of this context. I ordered with the application on my cell phone. A little strange that it wouldn't let me add pickles when customizing my sandwiches, wouldn't you say though? The food was ready when I got there and nobody gave me a hard time because my voice sounded like awful because of the laryngitis.
In summary, if you want Burger King, then don't come here—go to Burger King. Jack is Jack and that's okay.
P.S. Like most chain restaurants, the quality of the food and value for money have both gone in the wrong direction, clearly a corporate directive to squeeze consumers even further and shake out a scant few more pennies into the cracks of investors. Laugh it up, you crooks, you robber barons, the inevitable is, as they say, inevitable.
The curly fries still slap, tho.
