I can’t speak for all WinCos but we love this location. We are from the east coast and never heard of WinCo, it was a magical moment when we learned about it. Not taking credit cards took a minute to get use to , but thankful for it because it keeps their prices low. Always stocked , friendly employees, and prices are as good ad you can get for what’s going in in the world .
I love WinCo. They are, without a doubt, the most inexpensive supermarket that I've ever shopped at. To be frank though, to remain as cheap as they are, you're going to have to give up a few perks. You're going to bag your own groceries. You're not going to be able to pay with a credit card, only a debit card (or cash). You're going to have to deal with a few people who are on the questionable side of 1) sane and/or 2) hygienic. But aside from the minor inconveniences, these stores are amazing. I especially love their bulk foods section. You can get some things there for far cheaper than you would at even a wholesale store. All in all if you want good value and inexpensive pricing, shop at WinCo.
Just picked up some groceries at our goto grocery store. Bought a dozen bagels as they smelled and look so appetizing. The jalapeño cheese bagel I ate on the way home was the best bagel I have ever got there. It was perfectly cooked. So good.
