Seated promptly. Location is clean. Waitress was friendly, prompt. Food comes out quick and delicious. On Saturday mornings there’s a guy there that makes balloon animals for tips for the kids.
Had a good experience . Food was great. Had 6 pancakes and 2 meals. 2 large glasses of milk. Waitress was having a bad day. Other customer’s were complaining about things she had no control over. My waitress and old lady waitress were nice to their customers and helped them too. I just think the old lady getting involved made the situation worse. She just should of grabbed the waitress and be done instead of sticking her nose into someone else’s table. I gave her a 20 tip to help make her day better and be focused on the next customer coming in. She treated me very well and was nice. I don’t remember her name. Tall white woman with glasses very low voice. I give her 5 stars for kindness.
What a cheerful, professional, efficient and well coordinated group of people. Everything from the front door greeting to the final good bye was perfect. I can’t say that about many restaurants. And mind you, this is IHOP! Service was fast and friendly without skipping a beat. The food was exactly as ordered and delicious. It helps to show up starving! But when you’re hungry you don’t want to send something back because it isn’t right. I don’t think that ever happens here. Everyone was so cheerful, happy and enthusiastic. Hester, at the front door, was doing an excellent job on her first day as hostess. Jason was our server with just the right amount of attentiveness. He really made this trip to IHOP a great one. Whatever they are doing here is absolutely the right thing. You can tell there is very good management and training behind all this. The whole place and everyone in it exudes a positive attitude. Very highly recommended. Please overtip the servers. They work hard and deserve it.
