Food here was surprisingly very good. The fried plantain chips were crunchy and similar to a thick kettle chip crispy. The salad was mostly iceberg lettuce but the sauce and accompanying ingredients made a refreshing dish. The salmon, a fish very easily overcooked, was delightfully tender without being raw. The side of asparagus could be charred a little less. Mashed potatoes have a hidden spiciness to them! The beer soaked brown sugar drunken ribeye steak was pretty good overall, however they didn't ask how we wanted it cooked. When asked, they said they cook a tender pink medium steak but did not take a request to make it medium rare. Strangely while most of the steak was a tender medium consistency, a smaller side portion was closer to a better medium rare to rare consistency. The cheesecake was pretty good overall. The warm chocolate cake was a bit dry on the sides but delicately smooth like pudding. The desserts had a contrasting tart sauce that overpowered the cheesecake just a little bit.
Everything was amazing!!! From the decor to the drunken ribeye. Their service was wonderful as well. You can't go wrong with this place. My only regret is I should have came to this place sooner.
Went for dinner on a Tuesday night. Food was outstanding as was the service. Great selection of scotch ... served with the large 2.5 inch ice cube ... excellent espresso. Tried the drunken rib eye ... truly outstanding!
