What a great little coffee shop! Passing by headed to dinner I stopped in for a flat-white. I love they use Small Plains coffee beans-loved my flat white with soy so much, I had to have a second! Staff is extremely friendly and always working. The staff of three never stopped-in between customers they cleaned-the customer service is stellar and the coffee shop was one of the cleanest I have been in!
Friendly, tasty, and fun. I heard about their scones on Reddit (yes, there’s a thread for DC scones), and have to agree—Wydown’s are hands down the best scones I’ve found in DC so far (apart from my family recipe 😌). They also have seasonal varieties, always a plus. The location is also convenient, right around the corner from U & 14th street.
Also went on a Sunday morning, and there’s a nice cozy, bubbly atmosphere with lots of folks. And did I mention friendly?
