While staying at the Conrad Hotel, we had our morning breakfasts at Estuary which is a Michelin star restaurant located at the 3rd floor. Estuary provided a delightful breakfast experience in a setting that exuded elegance and tranquility. The morning ambiance awakened a sense of refreshment, setting a positive tone for the day. It is very spacious and open setting. The attentive service, marked by tender care, included staff explaining the breakfast offerings and accommodating individual preferences. The seamless match with personal requirements resulted in a thoroughly enjoyable breakfast. Black tea served with french press, it tasted much better than tea bags. I tried their omelette with spinach, onions and white cheddar. It was a delight! Fluffy and perfectly cooked, the blend of ingredients created a harmonious burst of flavors. The chef's expertise was evident, making it a delightful culinary experience. It comes with toasted white bread, butter and strawberry jelly. Also i chose fruit bowl, everything was very fresh. With such a positive experience, Conrad proved to be not just a great hotel but also had an great restaurant, leaving a desire to return soon for another delightful visit.

Located inside a hotel and only serving breakfast at noon on a Saturday was surprising to us. The wait was abysmal. It took 20 minutes for us to be seated, as the hostess took a food order over the phone, then disappeared for several minutes to hand it off. She also came across unwelcoming when we announced we weren't guests at the hotel. The restaurant was practically empty, but we were seated next to two filled tables. They forgot my coffee and I had to re-request it and it took 45 minutes for them to prepare our food. A full 45 minutes for an omelette and a breakfast sandwich. Once the food arrived though . . . I had the Blue Willow Omelette: spinach, carmelized onion, feta. It was the most beautiful omelette I've ever seen, been served or eaten. It was sumptuous and bursting with deep flavors, and served with a gloriously crispy and flaky croissant. My husband ordered the Croissant Sandwich. It, too, was beautiful and surpassed all expectations. We left fully satisfied.

While restaurants in hotels can be hit or miss, Estuary is certainly worth a visit. First things first, the space is beautiful. The clever use of space makes the dining room feel larger than humanly possible. Despite the size and layout, the dining room feels cohesive. Though none for their seafood options, I tried the hand made meatballs and the chicken. Though smaller dishes both were filling. While the food was good, I had the best mocktail I have had in sometime with their Amerti Sour. All in all, estuary is a great option for special occasions, after work drinks or the social client meal.

Had the most excellent dining experience I've had in a very long time on 7/22/23. Made reservations ahead of time as I was planning on proposing to my girlfriend at the time. The staff was extremely cordial and helped me with making it extremely special for me and my now Fiancé. The food was absolutely phenomenal , I highly recommend the hush puppies as an appetizer, and the rabbit guisado for dinner! My fiancé had the seafood carbonara and we both agree this was the best meal we have had in a long time! They even treated us to champagne and a lovely fruit tart dessert to celebrate the occasion. Thank you so much for the amazing experience!!

We came to Estuary for brunch to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Every single member of the staff was so nice and the food was incredible. We’ve been trying to drink less lately so we enjoyed their mocktails. The Montreal 75 was a standout! For mains we enjoyed the local oysters, Maryland Crab Benedict and the Duck Confit Hash - all incredible. Definitely recommend for brunch!

Estuary is located on the third floor of Conrad. The restaurant presents the most elegant decor and dishes. Pictured is Blue Willow Omelette cooked to perfection. Each bite is filled with sweetness of caramelized onions, saltiness of feta, perfect neutrality of spinach, and fluffiness of the egg. Every component of this dish including the condiments reflects the fresh produce it originated from. I highly recommend breakfast at this location.

We sat in a lounge designed for couples right by a fireplace. It was the perfect environment to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. We shared a bottle of Prosecco, which was good and reasonably priced and started with some oysters. The oysters were good but not great, as given the name of the restaurant we were hoping they would be excellent. Finally, we had the charcuterie board we really liked, it included a very good jelly and fresh honey. Overall, the food was not something to write home about, but the prices were very reasonable, so it still gets 5 stars.

A wonderful place for date night. Ambience was perfect and the staff was a delight. They even took us around to see other parts of the place that had been closed for the night just because we were having good conversation. Although food portions might seem small, don’t under estimate how full you will get, especially when eating slowly and conversing with your beautiful partner! Well paced through the night. Highly recommended.

Nice choice in the heart of DC. Food and service are excellent. We tried the caviar and it was served with a nice flavored creme fraiche and hand made potato chips - excellent. The soft shell crab was also very nice done. Service was impeccable.

I am not one to do any review of any kind, good or bad, however, I believe Estuary deserves a few moments of my time. We had family in town and had dinner there on Saturday night. From the host stand to the wait staff to the sommelier the service was impeccable. We felt appreciated and the experience was lovely. We are wine drinkers, and the wine list was amazing. Of course, the food was fantastic and overall, we had zero complaints. Please keep it up and you will remain in my arsenal of amazing DC restaurants.

The crispy pig ears are amazing! The massive fish was also delicious. Service was a little slow. They didn't return to ask to refill our drinks.

Overall, a great place that gives quality dishes for reasonable price. I tried their restaurant week menu(25$) for lunch. Crispy pig ears : An average dish. Similar to bacon but more crunchy and sweet. Short rib: The short rib was good but the combination didn’t go that well. Carrot cake: The must get item for me. The best carrot cake I ever had. It had some peach and other fruits which complemented it really well.

Exceptional in all ways... the rockfish dish was divine leaving my palette pleased and intrigued. The ambiance and decor modern chic yet warm and welcoming. But the best part of my experience was being so kindly welcomed by the staff and my server, Will, as I sat alone at the bar for dinner. Although I live nearby in Maryland, I am staying at the Washington DC Conrad Hilton Hotel for a conference so l'm definitely coming back!

The service is amazing and the bartenders or servers are really knowledgeable about the food and drinks if you want to try something knew just ask what do they recommend and they will not steer you wrong. I have been there for brunch, and dinner and I honestly do not want to eat out else where.
