This place is phenomenal during fall and winter. We tried the risotto balls as starter (so good, the risotto was perfectly cooked and the cheese super soft), plus the Classic Baller Platter (balls with spicy meat sauce over mushrooms, bacon and mashed potatoes) for me and the special meatballs platter for my wife (that was turkey balls with cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy and stuffing). Both of them were so tender and quite firm, if you like juicy balls, go in another place. I also tried the Mr Tangerine Man and the seasonal Moscow Mule cocktails, super good too. Overall, it's a cozy place, with a very careful service. Don't expect a cheap bill. For all the stuff we paid almost $92, but it's okay, since the portions are huge (four big meatballs are a LOT). Definitely one of the best spot on the 14th.
We went for dinner a couple of weeks after the opening, right before Thanksgiving. The place is nice and cozy (the meet grinders on the wall are a funny touch!). I had the Thanksgiving special (turkey meatballs, one stuffing ball, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce, with gravy). Overall very tasty, but a bit expensive in my view (especially the cocktails).
Great service n location .... the lobster melt is super yummy ... n meatball bowls r great since u can try a bit of everything but I have to say the price is a bit high ... not for everyday but nice brunch treat ....
