Staff are chill and explain things thoroughly. It took about 10 minutes to make my bacon and cheese sandwiches, and the bacon is crispy/chewy (personally I enjoy!). Paid $8 including tax and tip, so if you have $10 and want something local/have the diner experience, go here! (Parking-wise, it's difficult, so I recommend coming here via Metro)

Friendly with the customers , quick to get the food out and the food was amazing. Decently priced as well. They don't try to kill your pockets for the food and service they present. Little cluttered . Their corned beef hash was fire . So good.

Brookland Grill! Anytime I need a quick lunch or breakfast I stop - Mr. Charles even allowed me to get a cheap meal when I didn’t have my wallet. No frills just great food and a quiet place to eat amongst all the options on 12th Street.
