The spicy pho was indeed delicious, but man - food (and even water) took simply foreverrrr. Maybe they had a big rush, as they were out of vermicelli (?), but the place was half-empty and we couldn’t get our drinks. Yet, the food was good, and reasonably priced, so give it a while if you’re looking for good pho and have the time to wait for it!

The pho here is delicious! I went early on a Wednesday night and there were only a few others in the restaurant. Service was quick, the interior is nice, and the pho was better than expected. Seeing as I eat a lot of pho I thought it would be helpful to isolate the components. For context, I ordered the chicken pho. Broth: more flavorful (maybe slightly strong on onion, which I thoroughly enjoyed) than most other broths I've had Noodles: I'm normally all about the noodles, but these were pretty average in my opinion. There weren't as many as other bowls I've had and they had clumped Chicken: hands down the best chicken I've had in pho. They were very thin slices of delicious chicken and there was a lot of it! All in all, great meal and I would definitely return when in DC

I loved the food, it was my first time trying Pho. It was light and delicious. The summer rolls were really fresh and the avocado smoothie was great!

Such a good place to eat pho! Me and my boyfriend got large portions and it was perfect, I was craving pho but wanted a veggie option and it did not fail me at all! The broth was so, so good. They give you a good amount of brocoli, cabbage, carrots and tofu. The tofu was a bit stiff but nonetheless the veggie pho was 10/10! Ah! I want to go back again and again

LOVED everything about this place. Had the spring rolls and wow, my wife and I took a bite and looked at each other with huge eyes. They were so good. The Pho was great too, tasty broth and full of fresh ingredients. The friendly staff and outdoor seating just added to the awesome experience. Will be back.

Loved this place! Almost ordered an appetizer but I'm glad I didn't because I was full from the amazing vegetable pho. So, so good. The tofu and vegetables in the soup were perfect & I ate each piece. I love that there was a vegetable broth option so much. The service was fast and friendly. Clean bathrooms as well. Thanks so much! I'll definitely be coming back if I'm in the area.

My parents and my wife and I ate at Pho Anh Dao Easter evening . We ordered summer rolls and a variety of Pho and Vermicelli bowls. Delicious food, good friendly service and reasonably priced. Not much more to say. Nice addition to the neighborhood. We will definitely being going back again

Pho Anh Dao has three pivotal traits that make a great Pho spot: great customer service, aesthetic/clean design, and great broth👌🏽 This is likely the best Pho spot in DC. Also, staff is superb! After I left my boxed leftovers on the table, the manager tracked us down half a block (in the rain!) to hand me my leftovers. #Clutch

I came in on a weekday evening solo. It was quiet, fast service with kind and attentive staff. The food was delicious, nice and spicy, and the worker made sure I knew (to make sure I was prepared) and gave me a little extra paste if I wanted it hotter. The man who brought out my food was wearing gloves (I don't see it too often where I'm from) and that was considerate. They we're playing SZA quietly. A great album. Disregard bad reviews on here. I have to say I didn't experience anything of that sort. When I come back to DC I will definitely return. Thank you for a nice dinner.

Small restaurant. This place has excellent pho broth. Service is friendly; could be a bit faster. Prices are typical for DC, so higher than what pho normally costs in the suburbs. The outside tables have slats but we got no plates with the appetizer--dangerous for your pants! But it does have outdoor tables, which is nice.

Love this little Pho place. The menu is simple but everything on it I've tried is good. I come here at least once a week and get either the Eye of Round or Meatball Pho. It's consistently delicious and quick. Great place to warm up on a cold day!!

Great addition to the neighborhood...and DC. As popular as it has become, not every place can do Pho the right way. This place did...and made it seem effortless. 1st.. Great portions for the regular size. I ended up getting double meat (cause I'm just greedy), but I would have been happy without the xtra side. The broth (the key to a great bowl of pho) was extremely flavorful and just hot enough. The meat was tender and seemed to blend in perfectly with the broths profile. The place isn't huge... So seating may be an issue, but where they lack in seating, they make up for it in atmosphere.
