I came for the Korean food and was not disappointed. Ban Chan was on point :crisp, crunchy flavorful. The Bimibop was good but the egg was overcooked and the rice hadn't gotten than golden crisp that I love in a stone bowl. The Kimchi pancake was good. The Japchae was good but served hot not cold version. If the rice was golden crispy and the egg was runny enough to mix into the rice better I would have given this a score of 5 stars.
TL;DR - The food is delicious and the space is nice to eat in. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.
My wife and I had the beef bulgogi, the soft tofu soup with ramen, beef and mushrooms, and the firebird sushi roll (a personal favorite of mine because of its unique smoky flavor—they light it on fire). The broth was flavorful and perfectly spiced and the bulgogi was delicious with lots of meat. Also, the sides (bean sprouts, sweet potato, kimchi, broccoli, and pickled cucumbers) were fresh and well prepared.
For dessert we had the red bean shaved ice and it was amazing. The portion size was huge and the ice was finely shaved. A must try!
Big shout out to Oscar. You can tell he genuinely cares about customers and we enjoyed chatting with him. Thanks for a great experience and we look forward to returning again soon.
Their food was great...I think the mango sake made me sick...too much sugar or something..
