I went to Rene's to get some fast Mexican food to go. I ordered a carnitas burrito and a grilled chicken taco. I enjoyed both of the dishes, and particularly noticed how moist and tender the carnitas were. Everything was flavorful, and I added some of the very hot sauce to give it a bit of a kick! I think the prices are also very good. Skip the Taco Shop down the street and try this place.

Go to Rene's for breakfast, and order a steak, chorizo, cheese, and egg burrito. The guy will ask you if you want potatoes- no potatoes. Dump some red AND green sauce on it, eat it along with some coffee from the QuickTrip next door, and thank me. And then skip lunch. You'll still be full. Love it.

I have lived close to this restaurant since it first opened and my absolute favorite is the shrimp burrito! this is a must try I order it with extra white sauce and put lime juice and salt and pepper on it and it is wonderful. I've been telling my friends about the shrimp burrito 4 years and my best friend just tried it and she is officially hooked!
