Last night I had a perfect dinning experience at The Candle Club. From the greet at the door to the goodbyes on the way out I was thoroughly impressed. I was invited as a guest of the chef, however I assure you this is an unbiased review.
First of all the restaurant and bar look really nice. The first time I walked through those doors was 23 years ago and it seemed like nothing would ever change. Well things have changed. New carpet, new paint colors, new booths. Great feel. The small half circle booth we were seated at was comfortable and was great for enjoying conversation and dinner.
We were lucky enough to try a tasting menu prepared specially by Chef Harvey. This was a multi-coursed meal with seemingly no end. This meal was rockstar access to a culinary trip around the world. Each course exciting and delicious, and we had no idea what we were in for. The lobster bisque was expecially divine. I was impressed by the perfectly cooked asparagus with a slightly smoked flavor. Beer, wine, drinks and food expertly served by our excellent waitress Cheryl. Thank you C.C. had a wonderful evening.
I wish to thank the unbelievably staff last night ! The club was 100%full and the severs took get care of the members !! Our dinner was outstanding!! The kitchen hit a home run ! Food was hot and served as a first class private club !! The band as well was kick a.. !! Well done � you bar tenders killed it as well �
