We stayed at the Abbey for a girls spa weekend. Being from Chicago, we wanted to try something different for breakfast and the front desk suggested Daddy Maxwells. Our experience was beyond our expectations. This quaint place with very friendly staff makes THE best homemade donuts and their breakfast menu was pages long and utterly delicious! I'd give it a "10" if I could. Be sure not to pass this place up!

We've never been to this town so we asked a guy putting his boat in the water where can we have breakfast and this is where he told us to come. It was well worth it there was five of us in the party and we all enjoyed our breakfast, we will definitely come again if we come to this town.

Daddy Maxwell has the best Eggs Benedict in the country! I love this dish & try it everywhere I go, but none can touch Daddy Maxwells. Only on Sundays, but it's worth waiting 6 days for.

Daddy Maxwell's in very unique and has preserved the authenticity through their food, space, friendly and family atmosphere. It was so good, that I even was offered a free donut, yes free. A must drop by and enjoy it all. Make sure, you're hungry cause you won't be dissapointed. I'm from NY.

A fantastic place with awesome people. We only had the coffee and doughnuts, but the service was exceptional and people were friendly. I would highly recommend if you're in the area.

Hands down the best Eggs benedict, homemade Granola & service around. We will drive almost 2 hours one way on a Sunday morning just to have breakfast.

Great breakfast menu. Full Nine is a must - pancake burrito with eggs, bacon and cheese!! Nice big cups of coffee. Very small cozy place. Used to be an ice cream place. Difficult to tell who works there as they all don’t wear identifying attire. A hometown tourist cafe.

I ordered the Black Russian burger and , boy was it good!. A nice thick burger done to medium with sour cream and sliced black olives. The fries were done just right without to much salt. My first time there but it won't be my last

My dad Tom has been taking me here since I was a wee little boy. The food has been delicious for all these years and the staff are always amazingly kind and talented. We will continue to come here until we are all dead :)

The story, food and service are amazing. Expect a wait on busy mornings, especially during tourist seasons. Built to model the yerkes observatory and an early morning haunt of astronomers, this place serves up big servings of amazing breakfasts. Thoroughly enjoyed the corned beef hash and the baNana foster pancakes special! Our server was a pro during the busy Saturday morning breakfast rush and we had plenty of coffee and chocolate milk. The interior is high holiday kitsch with pastel furnishings. We're glad we stopped by.
