After having numerous friends recommend this sandwich shop, I finally had a chance to pick up lunch here. I got a "Kyle’s Buffalo Banger," basically a fried buffalo chicken hoagie. The chicken was hot (temperature), the buffalo sauce was tangy, the lettuce was finely shredded, but the bread was what really made this sandwich excellent. I highly recommend this local establishment. If their other offerings are anywhere near as good as the "buffalo banger," you're in for a treat.
You can't beat the home-made chicken salad or store-cooked turkey sub or try it on a wrap... the Kevin's Original always hits the spot too...AND they have breakfast! An amazing family-owned, independent shop with a loyal and caring team. Serving up delicious sandwiches using local and fresh ingredients from Highland Orchards. P&C is a local sandwich spot that doesn't disappoint!
I moved from Wilmington in 1987. The sub places I remembered from high school were gone. I asked my high school classmates where the best place was to grab a sub. Most of them recommended Pickles and Chips. We bought a Turkey sub and an Italian sub. SO AMAZING!! It was absolute heaven to taste a "real" sub again. In the west, Subway is standard fare. Now, my husband understands why I am disappointed whenever we go there. Thanks to Pickles and Chips for the authentic East Coast subs!!
