Ann Arbor has got another poke restaurant, which I welcome because Hawaii is my second home and I love poke.
I was extremely hungry today, and my review may be affected by that. I had salmon, spicy tuna, and those toppings in the picture. It was my first time eating here so I picked the traditional sauce.
I loved their poke bowl. I wish I had more rice because I ended up just eating fish at the end. But this also means that they put lots of fish in the bowl. I put cilantro for a change and realized cilantro goes really nice with poke. You should try that way, too.
Overall, I highly recommend Wild Poke.
Have you ever had Poke? I hadn't, and I'm very glad I tried this place. They were super helpful describing the process of ordering (base, protein and toppings) and the result was amazingly delicious. It's like sushi - with rainbows. And unlike sushi, it's reasonably priced for the ample quantity of food you get. I'm hooked. You should try it too!
For being in the Midwest this is good poke. The prices are extremely reasonable and you can create your own poke bowl. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. Worth a stop.
