Market, gift shops, food stalls, boba and bakery. Gives you the vibe of being at an outdoor market in Asia but in this case indoor. It has your typical Hmong-Viet-Lao-Thai fusion food like pho, pad Thai, Banh Mi, larb, kapoon, papaya salad, sticky rice etc. Sometimes only one or two of the food stalls are open.
The Market has your everyday necessities to make your everyday Asian dishes. I usually buy items to make pho which is a hit in my family. They have delicious Asian snacks and drinks. The owner is very nice. Last time I just went to buy a ginger for pho but she insisted I take it and gave me it. Come out and support this local place of businesses especially if you are non Asian.
"Jasmine leaf" had better boba drinks than the places you find in Milwaukee or Madison. The other boba place in this market down the hall was okay, but too sweet and you could definitely taste the powder.
"Mays kitchen" has the best General TSOs chicken. Real chicken that isn't chewy with the perfect flavor, crispy ok the outside, moist on the inside. The other dish we got from Mays is "Pad sew ew" which hands down had equally the best flavor and perfect noodles. We will definitely be driving an hour and a half up here every weekend.
Lastly, The egg rolls and cupcakes from "Kaolys" are also equally amazing. They have cupcakes to buy 1 at a time on Fridays or Saturdays or you can preorder a dozen and choose 2 of their flavors.
So my daughter loves the brown sugar boba from jasmine leaf, everyday she stops to get 1. Decently priced mia's has my sons favorite pork dumplings. Very friendly people
