The drinks, the entrees was awesome. The staff was also wonderful, everything was incredible. Like the small atmosphere. The staff was very accommodating, they actually set up a table for 6 or more because we were expecting that many. Unfortunately, several canceled so we informed the staff so they could separate the table in case they needed for the lunch crowd.
Eliza was highly recommended to us by Franz Borghardt at Geaux Rouge, and it did NOT disappoint! We started with Crawfish & Spinach Dip (with homemade potato chips) and a bowl of Shrimp & Corn Bisque. Our entrees included Shrimp & Grits, a freshly made Crab Cake, and the Eliza Creole Cheeseburger. It was all delicious! The Shrimp & Grits were probably the best we’ve ever had. The burger was a unique mix of chuck and pork sausage, and I REALLY enjoyed it. I also need to mention that the entire staff was incredibly friendly and very involved with making sure every patron had a good experience. Very glad to have found this little spot and will definitely be going back.
The freshest ingredients make the best food, and Eliza has this in the bag. From the salad to the gumbo to the entrees, everything was fresh and tastefully prepared. And our server, Brittany, was perfect. Attentive but not intrusive. Love when we find a new restaurant and it has worked so hard to make the dining out experience a special one.
