Yes, the food is good. But the cheesecake makes my heart cry tears of joy. I always get the plain one so the berry sauce doesn't interfere with the pure, rich flavor. I brought a whole cake to my omni family's Thanksgiving and they decided there is no way it's vegan, TBS must be pulling a fast one.
Also, I bring the bacon camping and all my omni friends and their kids are lining up at the skillet.
This place got me through my first few months of being vegan!! I was craving fried chicken and The Butcher's Son saved the day! The staff is friendly and the food is delicious! I tell everyone about this place and will be a returning customer until they go out of business, 5 stars is not enough for this place...oh by the way...try the cheesecake!!!!!!
Each component to our food was so well thought out, successfully adding layers upon layers of flavors! Every flavor sensation is intentional here and again, adds to the overall incredible experience. The Butcher's Son is my new obsession. I'm coming back to try everything! The Original Grinder sandwich is a fantasy come to life. It was everything I've always wanted in a sandwich but have never, ever been able to attain! Not just satisfied, literally blown away! Hubby got the Blue Cheese Burger. Unreal! Again, THE FLAVORS! Rarely do we find a place that nails it so hard on so many levels! It was Saturday afternoon, tons of decent restaurants on University.
