We were celebrating my dad's birthday. This is the local HOT 🔥 spot. It was packed, and the people were coming and going. There is a huge dining area with an indoor bar area. There is also an outdoor bar and dining area. There is no need to worry about the weather. The outdoor bar is covered and heated. The atmosphere was wonderful. The service was outstanding. The food was a 'B'. We had the Whiskey Creek Pasta, which could have used a little more seasoning for me. However, my dad has had the ribs, steak, and salmon. He says those were much more tasty, so I'll have to return to try something else. There's plenty of free parking and first come, first serve seating. No reservations. Remember, it's the local hot spot!!!
We had a very nice dinner. The food was good. The croissants were AWESOME! Hot fresh and favorable. I guess I was expecting a little better seafood. My shrimp and grits were a little watery and the gumbo is not what I would call a traditional gumbo. The chicken tender platter was huge and the chicken was very moist. The crab cakes were very good and would order those next time we visit.
The best seafood restaurant in the Myrtle Beach/Oak Island area! The atmosphere is just the right amount of southern coastal without it being too much (very classy). Service is always excellent and dishes come out in a decent amount of time. The food is awesome, with my favorite being the crabcakes and the chef salad with their in house honey mustard. Drink selection is also great here!
Overall, this restaurant has fed my family well again and again every year and every year we travel down to the beach we always make it a point to stop and grab a meal here!
