Fast, Friendly, and Clean!. Went here on a Friday evening for a little late night snack - JJ's is a staple sub shop in the DFW area.
Nom'd - JJ Gargantuan w/bacon
Parking can be pretty sparse in the area depending on the night, buy JJ's does have a few spots reserved for their customers right outside their door. The shop was VERY clean, it's the first thing that struck me when I strolled in.
The employees behind the counter were very friendly and were willing to hold a bit of a conversation. My sandwich was made in less than two minutes, and boy was it PACKED with meat and condiments.
Sorry guys, I don't know a ton of synonyms to "good" and "fresh"...but everything tasted fresh to me! They really piled on the meat and toppings, the sandwich would barely close, and that's not a bad thing! The JJ Gargantuan is basically a meat sub loaded with about five different kinds of meat. No brown lettuce, tomato's were crispy, and the sub was dang good. They did make a mistake on my order - asked for no onions, I saw in the register "no onion"...so of course they put onions on it.
I would go back to JJ's again, but another mistake in my order might be enough for me to avoid them, as the gap between them and subway has closed (they were MUCH better than Subway at one time). A "like" from me for now.
Amazing. Delicious sandwiches. Good, cheap "day old bread". My botfriend can eat there and actually be full :)
Love Jimmy John’s Addison! Friendly staff and super- quick delivery! I’ve experienced nothing but kindness. Clean, neatly kept, and organized restaurant. Courteous drivers. Sandwiches are always DELICIOUS and made attentively to order. Their BBQ chips are my favorite! My family’s go- to sandwich shop in Addison and for home delivery. (Ignore the negative reviews. Every restaurant has an off day and experiences staff shortages on occasion. Show a little grace, maybe.) Thanks, JJ’s!
