I had a great experience at this farm-to-table restaurant. The menu options are great; everything is listed a la carte, so you can pick your sides if you want them. The main entre was enough to fill me up and was cooked perfectly. The seasoning on the pork chop was really good and the carrot puree had the perfect amount of spicy heat.
The atmosphere was a mix of a few motifs: barnwood accents, butcher block tables, and tile floor. We were seated in a small side room that had two TVs hanging in the wall, which seemed very out of place for the theme. At least they were turned off, but I didn't expect to see a TV on the wall of a restaurant with a menu like this.
I'm glad we found this place and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a quality dinner. The food is all locally sourced or at least from Wisconsin, which is a nice touch. Also, the service was fantastic and helpful.
Had a lovely dinner here. The atmosphere is actually very nice and the food is tremendous. Our party of three ordered very different items and we were universally more than pleased. In fact, we were delighted. We had both the beet and cauliflower salads to start and they were delicious. The potato leek soup was similarly tasty. And the entrees were also wonderful. We even got dessert which is uncommon for us. All in all it was one of the best meals we've had in Green Bay all year.
We were well taken care of at Tenet by a waitress that was attentive to our needs. The list of Wisconsin beers was great and really gave me options for dinner. The atmosphere was ok and was borderline trendy, but was just kind of dark. We had 2 appetizers and 2 dinners with a dessert to top it off. The appetizers were unique and flavorful. The lamb meatballs were spicy, and the asparagus side with the duck egg was delightful on the fresh bread it was served on. It was a sort of a la cart setup so my wife and I shared all. That being said, we found ourselves wanting something to compliment our meals as in a side, sauce, or something in between . The curry fried chicken was flavorful with a good cook, but was by itself and needed something with it. The braised lamb leg was cooked with beets and potatoes and was so so. The fresh ingredients are what made it above average. The desert was an ice cream on top of a chocolate sweet potato cake. Again, the idea was great, but the cake was dry and lacked the wow factor we were hoping for. All in all, we like the idea, but were underwhelmed by the presentation and flavors overall. That being said, the quality was high, the place was clean, and the service was great. We will try it again when the summer offers us what I expect will be a very different menu to try.
