Our family has tried every Chinese restaurant in Huntsville and hands down this place beats them all. For lunch you get a full size meal for around $5 plus tax. It will feed two people but once you taste the food you won't want to share with anyone. Lunch comes with the entree, pork fried rice (to die for), and a delicious egg roll. Dinners are huge. Their cheese wontons are so scrumptious and piping hot.
In the 2 1/2 years we have been ordering the gentleman who owns it has never, ever gotten our order wrong. He uses a voice adapter so he does not repeat the order. He is very cordial and most times the food is ready in 30 minutes or less. It has always been hot when we pick it up and hot when we get it home. this place is so good that we quit going anywhere else.
This place is great! I've lived in Huntsville my whole life and have always driven past this restaurant. Recently I've moved closer and have been looking for a local takeout place. The ratings here were good and I grabbed some lunch. The price is great! Around 5 bucks for an entree and race with choice of soup. Can't really beat that. And the food was really good. Cooked perfectly, fresh with good cuts of meat. None of that cheap cuts filled with fat non sense.
One of the best hole-in-the-wall Chinese places in town. I've been a fan of China Taste since around 2003, when a friend introduced me to the place. It's not haute cuisine, but it IS made with attention and love, and the portions are plentiful. Even a big appetite like mine can't contend with the size of China Taste's entrees -- I usually end up making two or three meals of things like the Kung Pao Chicken or the Hot and Spicy Wonton (aka Nuclear Wontons; they have pork inside and used to be much more capsaicany than they are, these days). The prices are very reasonable, and I was very glad to see some months ago that China Taste now accepts debit/credit cards; they used to operate on cash only. :)
