one of yr cooks is one hell of a great cook. the best in jacksonville, fl. at the baymeadows area shop. he has been noted in the past as management material.. . he's tim haynes. dont believe me, ask him how to cook anything and he's got a great way to do it. i know from sampling his works. he is also a great team player, he's always ready to pick up where his team mate needs help. i truly believe that the restaurant is wasting a valuable chef. he not only cares about the food he sends to his customers, but he cares for the people he works with. i am hoping that this will place him where he truly belongs. at least try him out, what do y got to lose. he could be the answer to yr problems. isn't that why y hired him? to solve problems. thank u. i and all of jacksonville have read the reviews. pull him to the side and ask him to cook anything, bet my next superbowl ticket, he's on target. last but not least- he motivates others to push to the limits.the reviews not good? he's yr answer!
Neighborhood dive.. This place is not bad for the Baymeadows area. They have a happy hour daily and the food is passable. They actually make a pretty good cheesesteak and those are hard to find in Jax.
Always a good crowd late afternoon, and the bartenders are friendly and take pretty good care of their customer. The problem with this joint is that its so dated. They have ancient rear projection TVs scattered all about, and the only flat screen is over the bar....thats it, one TV over the bar, so a good place to watch football games this AIN'T. Probably the best thing about Gator's is that its located right next to a Dollar Tree so you're saving gas money. LOL
So if you want to grab a bite, take a group to happy hour, or just hang out this is a fun place. But for ball games you will find me at the Tap Room down the street behind Chili's.
Great wings. Went with friends for team trivia night a couple of times now. Great grilled wings and great, friendly service.
