This little hidden gem is off the beaten path but very worth the trip. This bar b que is as good as any I have eaten.
This place absolutely one of those mom and pop shops who hit it right. The atmosphere, the food, and especially the smoked brisket. I'll be going back!

Honestly, if you come to Lexington Virginia, and don't explore a couple of side roads to hit up this bad@$$ BBQ joint then you probably don't deserve to taste this kind of heaven. This is one of those small businesses that provides big service and even bigger quality! Including everything from fresh made from scratch daily deserts, to deviled eggs, potato salad, brisket, pulled pork and more! Just take a peek at the menu sometime. Wash it all down with a cold glass of sweet ice tea, or cold Dr. Pepper. Beameup is a small eat in type café/diner with excellent and friendly service. Their restaurant is clean and decorated quite perfectly for a BBQ place. With big open windows over looking the woods creek and local Lime Kiln Road, Beameup is just a hop skip and jump on the outskirts of town, but well worth the one extra minute it takes you to drive there. Scott and Robin Hayslett- owners, support local artists, and this local artist will forever support the best BBQ and Brisket I have ever had! If they have the pulled pork Chili on special- you better give it a try- holy WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
