Naturally I am one who has to have a craving for ice cream when I eat any kind of ice cream but when I am strolling/walking around downtown Madison on a beauitful day I find it hard to past up getting myself some ice cream from the Chocolate Shoppe. Its one my favorite places in Madison, WI to get ice cream. The staff seems to be always friendly and not too pushy when I am trying to make my decision on what ice cream to get.

We were told by a local, that we had to stop. Excellent ice cream with unique flavors. Try the coconut almond or espresso Oreo.

Yummy . . . I was visiting Madison for the weekend and was told by my cousins not to miss out. Being from Southern California, I was somewhat taken a back with the outside temperature,hovering around 40, and windchill. I was warmly greeted by a great staff that made EXCELLENT recommendations. As I strolled back to the hotel devouring my cone, I barely noticed anything other than the creamy texture and luscious flavor. It will be my first stop in Madison on my next trip there.
