Visited from NC to celebrate a birthday. I was blown away by the ambiance, as I am a huge wwe fan. Lots of history and artifacts to look at. The food was very good, but not spectacular. We had some problems with the server asking to read out card numbers at checkout which made some of my party members uncomfortable, but I'll chalk that up to a bad evening. Overall unobjectionable experience.
The music (live blues band) and atmosphere here was great! The 1 waitress was working really hard to serve our table of 8 and everyone else and had a great personality! The food on the other hand was not good. I ate the ribs because I was starving and that's part of why we came to Memphis and Beale Street was for the BBQ and blues. The green beans taste like they just opened a can and warmed them up a little. Mashed potatoes had no flavor either...if we ever make it back we won't be eating there again.
Food was very reasonably priced, and given the reasonable price was quite surprised by the taste. The wife got pulled pork, which was very tender, well seasoned, and not at all dry. I got a sausage and found it very moist and with good flavor.
