I like this place. It really lays into being a tiki bar with rum inspired cocktails that have a balance of sweet and potent. The space is small but in a really good way, because it creates a cozy feel. The only thing I would suggest would be to maybe throw in some board games just to up the cozy factor (plus, this may cause more people to stay and drink...lol). It's located in the Overton park area which is sort of a hidden gem but it's truly a local vibe. The food was very good. We had the bbq brisket nachos which mixed sweet and heat in a cheesy fusion. I would have liked to have more meat but it was appropriately portioned. The service was warm, fun and friendly. They run specials such as wings Wednesday and taco Tuesday both I intend to go to next timw.
Fun atmosphere and good cocktails. The music is kind of strange for a tiki bar, but the drinks are full of rum and the party bowls keep the atmosphere lively.
While some people think of Memphis as, “the birthplace of soul, rock n roll, and good pork barbaque,” here in Midtown, a hidden gem lies amongst the hustle and bustle of the city!
More than just a place to get a quick tropical drink right after work, Atomic Tiki offers its customers with an in-and-out-of-Memphis experience like no other, including, but not limited to Karaoke nights and Pac-Man tournament sessions.
What I especially like about this place is that they offer a variety of drinks and Hawaiian, Polynesian, and Japanese inspired foods such as Hawaiian pineapple pork nachos and handmade ramen noodles to choose from.
Regardless as to whether or not you’re a frequent bar hopper, there’s always something at Atomic Tiki for everyone!
I definitely recommend coming here for your next club and/or meeting outing. :)
