This was a must see while in Memphis. It’s Graceland and the King of Rock N Roll.
I took a million pictures but won’t post them all here. You start out at the museum part which is actually across the street from Graceland itself. They take you over to the house on a shuttle bus.
The house is pretty much the same as it was in 1977 when he passed. The upstairs is off limits but you get to see the rest of the house.
You finish up by the pool where Elvis and his deceased family are laid to rest. After you return to the museum and see memorabilia, cars, etc.
I loved it.
What can I say about Graceland that hasn't been said? It is an awesome place which is better than what anyone can write about it. Elvis has such an awesome, crazy, fun, and sad story. Graceland tells all these stories and love his stories. His Home and Museum really brings him to life. Graceland has so many different rooms which bring his decorating style to life. From his shag carpet walls, the peacocks on the walls, 3 TV Room to watch football, and all the other crazy rooms to see.
Incredible, exciting and surprising place. The only thing missing was for the staff to explain better how the flow of the tour works, as the place is huge, there really is a lack of directions and tips. But for Elvis and the wealth of content, it was worth it.
