I've eaten gelato around the world, and Piccola Gelateria is as good as any I've ever had anywhere. Absolutely splendid! Until now, I thought that only Buenos Aires has the world's best gelato--but Piccola Gelateria puts New Orleans in the same category. Piccola Gelateria clearly uses the purest and finest ingredients, sparing no costs. I recommend it without reservation!

This is the best gelato I've ever had! It beats every other gelato place in the city, which is quite a feat. This might just be the best dessert I've ever had! And the service was very kind and friendly.

Best gelato, best hosts, and best place to relax. I’ve come with my husband and friends on a double date; I’ve come alone with my twin infants to nurse and nap. Ria and Ross always take care of us. I love coming here!
