Food was amazing. Waiters were attentive to the point I was careful not to frown even as a joke because they would be over to you in a heart beat making sure everything was fine. Even the owner come over!! Impressive. This is real italian food from what appears to be real Italians, . I personally promise you cannot be disappointed that is of course if you are a true lover of Italian food. Why do I know you will be satisfied because I am 100% italian and know italian food very well....Go there !!
If you are in the Columbus Circle area, you must try this Italian restaurant. Everything is freshly prepared with finesse. We have been here three times, so far, and have tried most of the homemade pastas. The gnocchi is light, with a very nice parmesan cream sauce. I tried my son's veal ravioli with a wild mushroom sauce, which was hearty and very tasty. My shrimp and artichoke ravioli in a chunky tomato sauce, was outstanding. My husband had the homemade papardelle with bolognese, which I have had before and loved. The appetizers didn't disappoint, a stuffed fresh mozzarella with speck and sundried tomato, and also a tuna tartare.
We had a wonderful meal with family members we hadn't seen in a while. My daughter has celiac so dining out is always a challenge. Even though they do not offer a separate GF menu, they have very good GF pasta, (my daughter had the Bolognese and I wanted something with mushrooms that wasn't even on the menu and they made me a wonderful pasta dish. The waiter offered to speak with the chef if there was something other than pasta that my daughter wanted to see how they could accommodate her. The baked calamari as an appetizer was awesome as well as the Insalata Masseria. It is a bit price, so if you're looking for something inexpensive this may not be the right place, but I will definitely be back when we are in that area.
