Good for pre curtain or intermission dinner
Pretty exepensive stuff, but the food is good and it is a really nice way to dine pre-curtain or during intermissions. We had the branzino and the chicken and both were really good. Also the chocolate mousse was good, the baked alaska however it not to my taste. Staff is doing an incredible Job to satisfy all needs even during the short intermissions. It is best to make reservations beforehand as the place might be fully booked otherwise.
Very high end dinner and drinks before the American Ballet Theatre. 70-75 USD per person for a 3 course meal. All were excellent. Great wine list. Very convenient for intermission at the ballet as well, they will have your drink and table ready for you. Great experience, although expensive.
What an extraordinary meal, before an extraordinary show, the Magic Flute. The bison, carpaccio, aesthetically, pleasing, and flavorly balanced. The beef tenderloin, I ordered black and blue, a.k.a. Pittsburgh, was perfect. I ordered the bananas fosters, lavender crème brûlée, and fruit and berries, all three were delicious. I am classically trained in French service techniques, and I did receive a few backhands, and some solids delivered with the right, but I hold myself at a higher standard than most servers. Definitely will return.
