Such a lovely little neighborhood diner, was the perfect breakfast for lunch kind of place with a large menu and a cozy vibe filled with locals I’d assume. No music which was actually nice after the constant noise of the city, very tasty food. Pancakes and egg/bacon/hashbrowns were the American classics I was looking for.
A spotless Diner with extensive menu.
We had breakfast which was served in a hot pan, it was delicious. Originally from England, I was delighted the sausages were "real" sausages, and so good
We were walking up 6th and saw the neon sign in the window: "Corned Beef & Pastrami" - well, doesn't take much more to get a new yorker's mouth watering. So gave it a try. It is a diner - hence my 5 rating for atmosphere. It was pretty much everything you expect. But the main reason we went in was the song of the neon. Growing up with Pastrami & Corned Beef heavens like Hobby's, Carnegie, 2nd Ave, & Katz's - the bar is almost unfairly high. But hey, you threw it out on neon! Not a lot of flavor, not very big, and overcooked. If we wanted breakfast, would definitely go back but the CB & P was disappointing. The onion rings on the other hand were excellent!
