Mother's Ruin is a cozy bar in busy area. Its patrons are casual with a little sophistication, being so close to SoHo. They have plenty of specialty drinks to choose from. They also have taps on had. It's a nice bar to hangout even on a busy weekend. I like how it's not too loud inside. I would come back again when I'm in this neighborhood. Come here to enjoy a drink with a friend or enjoy a drink after a long day of walking or shopping. it's tucked between other restaurants and shops.
This low-key location that seemed to bring in the New Yorkers who dressed like hipsters that still wanted the finer things in life, had two tables for outside seating of which we quickly took advantage. It wasn’t the best view in the world, but it was nice to enjoy the weather and people watch. All are welcome at Mother’s Ruin, a small bar with no attitude. With a mixed crowd, a bar tender dressed as a pirate while another (male) sported a coconut bikini, it’s a bustling bar.
