A poets hideaway you say? Dipped into this lovely little spot for a bite after visiting The Strand with my favorite book. Needed a mouth-watering sandwich to go along with my pages--and I even stayed for a glass of wine. Cute spot to sit upstairs and reflect or grab a sandwich on your way out the door. From the underwood typewriter decor to the French cooking, you must stop in and see this little place for yourself.
Choose your own cheese?!!!. A bit on the pricey side, as NY is, but wow these are good sandwiches. There are so many options, and the fact that you can choose from a ton of amazing cheeses makes it extra special. The service wasn't the friendliest, but damn these croques were good.
I started out the morning by making a visit to La Maison Du Croque Monsieur, a French sandwich shop situated in an adorable and quaint little townhouse. I first heard of them through bloggers that I follow on instagram and figured I had to make a visit once I glanced through their menu. With fun names for each of their sandwiches like Mr. Joaquin or Mr. Edmund, I knew I had to come check it out and see what they were all about!
