My first time in New York and this bar delivered the ultimate bar and skyline experience. The drinks are perfection and to be honest not any more expensive than any other major city— I’m from Atlanta and $16 for a speciality cocktail seems pretty standard for a place like Ophelia. I had two different cocktails, Resurrection and The Flapper. Both were delicious. I found the staff very friendly and we got our drinks promptly. The hostess was a little overbearing but there are far worse things, like maybe not being acknowledged at all. Aside from the top notch drinks the space is beautiful and well-appointed, without being too stuffy and making a tourist who has been exploring the city all day in sneakers feel out of place. For me, this was precisely the type of place I always envisioned sipping a cocktail in New York at. This should be on everyone’s list of places to grab a drink at.
