If you're a serious whiskey fan, like myself, Rochelle's is not to be missed. They offer a great happy hour, stellar burger and extensive whiskey selection in a relaxed LES vibe including fun, irreverent signage, unique LES street art commissioned for both inside and outside the bar and the best owners and staff around. I'm no longer in my 20's so I'm not personally so much into the later party scene on the weekends (unless I'm with out-of-town friends) but I love to recommend it for a buzzy hotspot to my hotel guests and I LOVE to stop in regularly during their more chill happy hour, enjoy the open air setting in the summer months and/or catch a game on their large screen TVs with top notch sound system. Bottom line, this is a neighborhood gem run by some of the best in the biz.

Rochelles is by far the best bar in not only the lower east side but in all of nyc! From there amazing happy hour deals to the scrumptious bar menu ranging from dirty water dogs, sliders and quesadillas this venue can do no wrong! Also did I mention they have the most personable and coolest staff around town! This place is a must go for any whisky lover & patron looking to make bad decisions...

I love this bar. It’s my go to spot for whiskey and good times. Always a vibe, meet the best people and have an incredible time. Music is always on point. Casual but hot crowd.
