Our orders took a long time the first time. The second time, the pulled pork was chunky, our waitress didn't check on us, and took forever to bring the check, and we never got a dessert. We gave them a third chance and had a good experience with Anissa.
Would definitely recommend eating here as compared to the other dinings options relatively close by based on a great quality to price ratio, fast service, and welcoming wait staff. I ate here three different times while attending a nearby conference and liked each of the meals.
1) Turks island chicken sliders: 4/5. The combination of house made Hawaiian bun, pineapple, and jerk chicken is very tasty. I really liked this dish. Only change I would make it to maybe split this dish into three sliders instead of two, and in doing so reduce the amount of pineapple and chicken on each slider - two pieces of each stacked up creates a slider that is too tall to eat and must be deconstructed. The sweet potato fries were not oily and sufficiently salted to have a really great taste and compliment the sliders well.
2) Little Havana Sliders: 3/5. These sliders were still good, but not as good as the Havana Sliders. They are a little messy to eat, so don't order this if you have a fancy business meeting here. Definitely a lot of meat slid off, but still ate it at the end with a fork. Got the yucca fries to go with this one, they were definitely not as good as the sweet potato fries. They came out very oily on the outside and still hard on the inside. The garlic on them was very good though. Server was very kind during this meal - it was after a long conference day and they definitely made it very welcoming and possible to dine alone without feeling out of place.
3) Mojo Chicken Sandwich: 4/5. Again, two pieces of jerk chicken is a bit much and would have preferred the guacamole spread onto the bun instead of presented in a scoop next to the onions, but, I took off one piece of chicken to eat after and formed the burger and it was pretty good. The bun aligns with the slider buns and is very tasty. Got sweet potato fries again and they again came out very tasty and with a perfect amount of salt.
In comparing the sliders from here to Descend 21 across the street, this location easily wins. They put a lot of thought into the flavors and pairings and the slider buns are really tasty.
Portion sizes are perfect for meals and left me feeling full but not overly. Prices are perfect for per diem meals for dinner, unfortunately the lunch prices are slightly above at least our per diem lunch price. Did consider not going here for lunch one day because of this, so you may want to consider lowering lunch items by $2 to hit per diem if possible.
Funny enough, got sat in the exact same chair all three visits by the water wall.
Harry's is a very nice place to dine. The food is decent, and I will say the service is excellent. However, when dining is that expensive I do have higher expectations. The atmosphere is quite casual, but unfortunately the acoustics of the restaurant are so good, that you were able to hear conversations from tables 20 feet away. So definitely not a place to recommend for a quiet or romantic dinner. We had the Island Coconut Shrimp for an appetizer. For $17, I would have expected a freshly made product and not one from a box. My wife had the salmon which was very good. However my Rib-eye was so thinly cut, it was technically impossible to achieve the mid-rare temperature I requested. The cut of meat and flavor was good though.
