Three good things about Tattooed Mom.
• Always a good beer selection.
• Crazy-diverse crowd, because it's at a world crossroads of South Street.
• No TV!, + great soundtrack.
• Their wait staff is scary-agile, somehow getting tacos and a tray loaded up with 6 pint glasses over to a coffee table to some people sitting on a couch, with messenger bags all over the place.
• Prices are good, and they have an entire column of veg/vegan stuff.
• They always have odd and interesting events, take it from me.
wait, that was more than 3. Oh well. My biggest regret is I am on the other end of South Street so can't get there too often. mcget/trophy bikesPHL
I have been here a few times and it's always a good time. I love the vibe and love the vegan food that I've tried thus far. Also yay for spinner tops from the 90s. Wut wut. It's definitely going to become a regular spot and I recommend it to anyone passing through.
Where else can you sit in an old bumper car and graffiti the walls with art, while you eat amazing tots? This is my home. I feel like Robert has created a place that I can always go to in Philadelphia and feel at ease. The energy that this place has is legendary. You can look at all the art on the walls for hours. It's seriously a shrine of graffiti and lowbrow art, and they always have fun events. I love this place so much.
