We had a large party of 10 and we had no problem getting reservations. A few of us arrived early and they kept my coffee cup filled while we waited. That is always important. We had several appetisers, all were good. Everyone enjoyed the pizza, mine had pine nuts, and some had pasta dishes and they enjoyed those too. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. Would recommend.
Good Place. Love the thin crusted pizza. And love the family style salads.
Pietro's - Italian Oasis!!. Several years ago a bunch of us from Frederick MD drove to Philly for the King Tut exhibit. We heard about South Street and decided to stroll around. It was about 98 degrees (maybe I'm exaggerating but it was hot and humid!) . We were hungry and THIRSTY!! We stopped at one restaurant only to find the air conditioning was BROKEN. We staggered further down South Street and came across Pietro's..an Oasis of Italian Fare! After drinking about 3 tall delicious glasses of iced tea, we ordered. Service was GREAT!! The waiter was very accommodating of our table of 8. He kept the iced tea coming and along with that the most delicious pizza I've ever had in my LIFE!!! The crust was light and crispy with a slight char to it..The tomato sauce was light tomato sunshine..bright, fresh and sweet. The mozzerella was unlike any I ever had before. FRESH! Creamy..slightly tangy..looking like melted browned marshmallow but certainly NOT marshmallow. Absolutely fantastic. Over the years, we've ventured back looking for any reason to stop by, "Well..we're going to New Hope PA..let's stop by Pietro's on the way back." My daughter and I went to an Elvis tribute show and on the way back..guess what?..Pietro's pizza along with splitting a fresh salad and iced tea. You CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THE PIZZA. If you've never had fresh mozzarella on a pizza you haven't had pizza..and you even if you have..you haven't had the best until you've tried Pietro's..
