Slice of pepperoni was delicious! A slice and a Coca-Cola was seven dollars. Nice atmosphere, music, family friendly.
I had the incredible pleasure of visiting Joe's Pizza Philly as part of a delightful Philly Food Tour, and I must say, it was an absolute highlight! While Joe's offers a tempting array of pizzas, it was the renowned Tomato Pie that stole the show. Crafted with meticulous care, this dish embodies the dedication and expertise of the founder.
The Tomato Pie at Joe's is unlike anything I've ever tasted. The sauce, made fresh daily by the founder, boasts an unbeatable flavour profile that truly sets it apart. The double rise crust, a testament to their commitment to quality, adds a wonderful depth to each bite. The fact that you need to order this masterpiece in advance only adds to the anticipation of savouring such a culinary delight.
My wife who has been at Joe's a few times before, was amazed to discover their Tomato Pie. It's a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it gets. My wife, a local and born-and-raised Philly resident, couldn't deny its exceptional taste. Trust me, this is an experience you won't want to miss on your trip to Philly. The Tomato Pie at Joe's Pizza Philly is an absolute must-try - it's a mouthwatering journey into the heart of authentic Philadelphia flavours!
Joe’s Pizza in Philly has wonderful employees - I stepped in today to get away from a man following me on the street, he continued to harass me in the restaurant but the men working did not hesitate to stand up and make sure I was safe. I am thankful for these wonderful individuals who subjected themselves to conflict for a lengthy period of time just to protect a stranger. Have to come back for the pizza, but can vouch for the great service!
