Chef John Piaquadio is the master in this kitchen. His menu is extraordinary. This Italian Menu is extensive, with Pastas, Appetizers, Soups, Seafood, Beef and Veal. Chef John is an incredible Chef. He takes ordinary, predictable Italian entrees that we all know and love, to put his spin on them. The results are Chef John's versions of these familiar dishes. He is re-introducing his clientele to these wonderful and comforting Italian Dishes with exceptional skill. His Crab Stuffed Mushrooms are incredible. His Italian Bread with Oil and Red Pepper is a dip that you will devour, with glee. Chef John is just giving you a taste of what is yet to come. His portions are huge. His signature items, i.e. his veal dishes, are gifts of familiar and inventive dishes that are beautifully prepared. This is a small restaurant in a strip mall in Mt. Lebanon. There is a nice bar and a very nice, yet small dining room. There is attention to detail from the Hostess, the Bartender, the wait staff, the cooks and the busboys. They miss nothing. You will be cared for the entire time in Piaquadio's. You must pay close attention. You can pass it easily, without realizing it. If you love Italian food, Northern and Southern, then you will join those of us who are in the know. Go there. Let Chef John and his staff re-introduce to wonderful, fresh and well-prepared Italian Dishes. You will love it. You will return and you will try to keep Piaquadio's a secret.
