Great place for sushi! We went in with a coupon or we wouldn't have known about this place. We were seated promptly. Service was perfect--prompt without hovering. Food was delicious: we tried lots of different dishes, everything was fresh, and prices were in line with what we ordered. This is now a definite go-to place for sushi night!
Edamame here is awesome, they're buttery and have a nice little kick. The sushi is good, but over priced for what you get, in my opinion. It's also hard to be gluten free at this restaurant because their sushi rice is not gluten free, apparently because of the rice vinegar they use. The plus side is that they do have a raw roll that they were able to do gluten free and it was delicious.
My boyfriend and I had an amazing Valentines dinner here tonight! The chefs were very kind and the gentleman who had helped us up front heard we had never tried sake before and let us try some free of charge which was very nice of him. The sushi was great as well. We had gotten three rolls the shrimp tempura roll, carpenter and sakura. People who are complaining about how there aren't "typical" sushi menu items can always go to a Sushiland if they reaaally need that california roll lol.
We thought the menu selection was great and had no complaints. Majority of the higher end sushi restaurants have menus similar to this and for the quality we thought the price was quite fair. We had paid $54 with a $10 tip for two cocktails and three rolls.
