I drive by daily and we wanted something new and decided to give it a go. 2:30 Sunday afternoon. The place wasn't deserted but pretty close. We were seated immediately and given menus. Menu is limited to chicken with different flavoring and a few appetizers. We ordered seasoned fries and I got white chicken with Sweet Chili Medium Sauce with a side of coleslaw. My son got white chicken and waffles with spicy Ginger Fries came out quickly and were seasoned with an Asian curry type salt. They were good. Chicken came out shortly thereafter and arrived on small plates. The coleslaw was a generous portion and was pink. Even the dressing on it was pink. It tasted pretty good. Strong vinegar flavor. The chicken itself was piping hot and very crisp even with the sweet chili sauce on it. It was cooked nicely. The sauce had a weird aftertaste but wasn't bad even if a bit too sweet for what I was expecting. Didn't have any heat to it. My son's chicken had more of a dry rub and was very good
If you like motorcycles or have ever been to the "Chicken Head" club in Korea the you will like it here. The taro chips and kimchee queso is awesome. We had the whole chicken half sweet and spicy the other half soy ginger. Good Korean fried chicken. The only reason I didn't give it a four point five is because I would have liked more sauce on the chicken.
Dining With Delia Jo
+3.5
I know what you're thinking: another chicken restaurant? But hang with me here, this one is different, I promise. In fact, their famous Not Your Mama's Fried Chicken recipe (they first served this at bbbop Seoul Kitchen) made my list of Delia Jo's 100 Best Bites in DFW in 2016. Chicken Moto is a full-service, Korean inspired fried chicken joint, so what you'll find on the menu is more than southern fried food, but a true fusion that actually plays very well.
