I've been here for many years, as the food is authentic and delicious. But, things have changed a bit since the pandemic and no longer the place I once couldn't get enough of..
The food is good, the staff is attentive(all women workforce), but is no longer that secret taco place and now it's quite busy during lunch.
Some items have been downsized such as the self serve sauce salsa area, and prices have gone up significantly; A taco is nearly $4 and a combo is nearly $14... If you plan to order during lunch, a typical wait can be upwards of 30 minutes, along with the run down dining area, and the terrible parking situation(sometimes double parked) has made it a place I have less frequented.
I tend to have a craving and although I'm satisfied with my meal; the dining experience is a bit of a slog. There are equally competitive taco places nearby which can lead to a happier lunch experience due to cleaner and better designed facilities.
Therefore, if you want the best experience, I recommend this place only for take out and order before or after the lunch rush.
A hidden gem. This was one of the best burritos I’ve ever had in my life. Don’t let the slightly rundown exterior fool you. The hard-working crew must pour all of their effort and attention into the food because it sure does satisfy.
We got their huaraches, the flavor is so good, and the texture was super crispy. The service is a little bit slow, the place looks messy, they don't show all their prices.
