What a delightful, charming little treasure found in Salina Kansas. The staff was professional in every manner, from our friendly greeting, experience at the bar, the appearance in dress and their facial expressions, the evident respect shown between the staff and their interaction with each other, to our knowledgeable server. The kitchen experienced a minor glitch with the ticket printer pushing times back by about 10 minutes. We were not affected by this though we were impressed by how professionally the staff responded to the situation with those patrons that were sitting near us. It was evident that the staff was genuine and sincere with how their guests were affected by the unfortunate event. I have been in the hospitality service industry for the better part of my career. I made it a point to let the hostess know how it was noticed, how respectful and professional the staff was during our visit. We were greeted right away and had drinks and fresh warm bread within minutes. Service was perfect, our drinks were never below 1/2 cup and the food came out very quickly. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Salina. A few of my favorite items on the menu are the toasted ravioli, chopped salad and lasagna. The waiter boxed up our leftovers and sent us with to go drinks when we were finished. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
Awesome food, massive portions, fantastic service. This place has been here since 2001 and is still great now. Toasted ravioli and red sauce were great to start!
